Dr. Anisha completed her Masters in English Language and literature from the University of Kerala. She pursued her PhD in Culture and identity as projected through the writing of Orhan Pamuk and Elif Shafak, the modern writers of Turkey. She has presented papers in UGC sponsored national and international seminars. Her areas of interests include cultural studies, gender studies and popular literature.

Dr. Anisha has worked as Lecturer at NSS college for Women and All Saints College, teaching papers of literature and language, prose, poetry, drama and novels. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Arts and Humanities, at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies.
