Dr. Christopher Devakumar, presently working as Assistant Professor at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies in Department of Commerce. He has more than 12 years of Teaching and 9 plus years of Industry experience. He has work experience in Christ University and PES University in the department of commerce and management. Dr. Christopher Devakumar, had designed various short term Certificate courses and credit matrix for various courses in Commerce and Management domains Under Graduate and Post Graduate.  He has worked with IBM India, Accenture and Goldmansachs as Business Analyst in various domains in Finance.  His research and teaching areas includes Core finance subjects like, Investment Management, Securities analysis and portfolio Management, Management Accounting, Blockchain Technology, Derivatives and Business Research Methods. He has published various articles on Indian Derivative market and market Anomaly. Dr. Christopher is also the Board of Studies member for various colleges in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. September 2023 he has been appointed as the Board of Evaluation for PhD from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He is also a member of Royal Chartered Institute of Investments and Securities body (UK). He is also an active member in Indian Accounting Standards (IAA), India. He had presented papers in National and International Conferences in the area of Derivative Market, Blockchain and Risk Management.
