Biography

Dr. Javeria Amreen

Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Dr. Javeria Amreen holds a PhD in Mathematics with a specialization in Graph Theory from Christ University, Bengaluru, where her doctoral research focused on algebraic graph theory. Specifically, she explored the creation of new graph structures using algebraic concepts such as groups and cosets. She completed her Master of Philosophy in Mathematics at Christ University with a Minority Fellowship from the Government of Karnataka. Prior to that, she earned a Master of Science in Mathematics, securing second rank from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore University, and a Bachelor of Science degree with a triple major in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics from Christ University.

Dr. Amreen is a qualified candidate for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET/SLET) for Assistant Professorship in Mathematics. Additionally, she received the Best Paper Presentation Award at the International Conference on Science, Technology, and Social Sciences, organized by K.E. College, Kerala. She has six publications in Scopus-indexed journals and is an active participant in academic conferences, having presented ten papers at international conferences across various institutions in India.

Her research interests span graph energy, cryptography, algebraic graphs, signed graphs, and domination. Currently, she is focused on exploring the applications of graph theory in cryptography and is open to further exploring new areas within the broader fields of Mathematics, particularly those related to data security and data analytics.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Amreen heads the Centre for Integrated Education and Life Skill Formation (Samagra) at CAIAS. Previously, she was an active member of the cultural committee at CAIAS.
