Biography
Ms. Sridevi M
Assistant Professor of Marketing
With over a decade of experience, including 7 years in academic teaching and 2 years in the industry, I have honed a rich understanding of the dynamic interplay between teaching and learning. Currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Periyar University, Tamil Nadu, my research focuses on Services Marketing in Consumer Behavior. My primary areas of interest lie in Marketing and General Management, where I have consistently worked to inspire and guide students toward academic and professional success. My role as a faculty mentor has involved guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students in Industrial Internship Projects, fostering critical thinking and practical application. I take pride in mentoring students, listening to their concerns, and offering thoughtful guidance to help them navigate their academic and personal growth. I have enriched my professional journey by attending various workshops and faculty development programs (FDPs) and have presented 14 research papers at national and international conferences. Additionally, I’ve published 16 papers in reputed ABDC, WOS, and UGC Care journals, further solidifying my academic contributions. As an author of four textbooks on marketing, I strive to provide students with resources that simplify complex concepts and support their exam preparation. My commitment to continuous learning is reflected in my completion of certification courses on AI in Marketing and Consumer Behavior through SWAYAM-NPTEL, earning Elite scores.
Expanding the boundaries of innovation, I have successfully published two Indian patents in the fields of AI and Data Analytics. Leading industry tours to organizations like Britannia, L&T, UNIBIC, and Toyota, I’ve offered students firsthand exposure to managerial practices, organizational hierarchies, and operational systems. Within the classroom, I’ve facilitated engaging events such as business quizzes, creative storytelling, role plays, advertising campaigns, business plans, and case discussions, all designed to enhance learning experiences for both UG and PG students. At the heart of my teaching philosophy lies a dedication to delivering high-quality instruction. From preparing comprehensive course materials to designing interactive lectures and evaluating student performance, I prioritize fostering a stimulating academic environment. My innovative teaching strategies aim to encourage critical thinking, inspire curiosity, and empower students to develop a profound understanding of the subject matter.
With a passion for lifelong learning and a commitment to excellence, I continue to guide and shape the minds of future leaders, leaving a lasting impact on their academic and professional journeys.
