Preamble

The examination Grievance Redressal Cell, at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, provides a mechanism for the redressal of grievances related to examination, ensures transparency in examination practices, and prevents of unfair practices at Christ Academy. The function of the committee is to look into the complaints lodged by any student and faculty members related to the examination.

The students or faculty members with a genuine grievance may approach the coordinator or members of the cell in person. In case the person is unable to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing or may also send an e-mail to the coordinator of the Examination Grievance Redressal Cell.

Objectives

The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a healthy practices and smooth conduct of examination in the institute. A Grievance Cell should be constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the students and teachers of the institute with the following objectives:

To ensure strife free examination atmosphere in the institute.
To encourage the students/teachers to express their grievances/problems on conducting examinations without any fear of being victimized.
To provide an opportunity for students to address their issues related to valuation of answer scripts.
To provide an opportunity for students to address their issues on awarding internal marks · To take appropriate actions on malpractices during the examination.
