Our B.Sc in Psychology and Computer Science program is a unique and interdisciplinary undergraduate course that combines the study of two distinct yet related fields – Psychology and Computer Science. The program is designed to give students a strong foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of both subjects and to prepare them for a wide range of career opportunities in the fields of technology, research, and human-computer interaction.

This BSc Honors course is a four-year course with multiple exit points as per the New Education Policy(NEP). Each semester includes appropriate and comprehensive practical papers which expose students to practical applications of the theory subjects. For students hoping to pursue further studies, it will enable them to get a Masters degree, in one- year only.

B Sc Programme syllabus comprises courses related to core subjects, open electives from other disciplines, skill enhancement and value added courses apart from languages.

The Discipline Based Core Subject, Psychology is a science that helps in understanding human thoughts and behavior. The B.Sc. Honors in Psychology will enable students to become valuable assets to any organization, hospitals, and institution requiring a psychologist with a robust and comprehensive knowledge of the subject. In addition, the research project, as well as internships, will enable students to apply their knowledge in the real world. The students will get the baseline knowledge that they will be helpful for the postgraduate programmes in Psychology.

The other Discipline Based Core is Computer Science. The scope of Computer Science has widened and has foregrounded it in the field of research and development. The course sensitizes the students to the recent advances in the field and helps them to envision the upcoming challenges in it. The curriculum is designed to allow the students to attain substantial knowledge in programming concepts while enabling them to align with current industry trends.

The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including developmental psychology, industrial psychology, abnormal psychology, programming, data structures, algorithms, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction. Students will also learn about the latest trends and developments in the field, such as virtual reality, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Students also get an in-depth learning into the latest psychometric assessments used.
