About Association
The Alumni Association at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies (CAIAS), is a vibrant community formed by the graduates of various disciplines to link former students to their Alma mater for life. The alumni body at CAIAS is a registered body (Reg No. DRB3 /SOR /218 / 2021-2022). The Alumni Association creates and keeps the Alumni interested in their Education Guild and thus paves a way for them to contribute to their Alma mater. It helps the alumni to stay connected with the institution through batch mates, faculty and staff through various activities.
The Alumni Association is supported by the Departments through their Alumni Units by organizing various events like Career guidance, Alumni talk series, placement activities, corporate connects etc.
Vision
- To build a link between the institution and society by promoting them as Ambassadors
- To promote a sense of belongingness and pride to both Alumni & students
Mission
- To serve as an independent gateway for Alumni, in order to inculcate a sense of belonging to the CAIAS fraternity.
- To maintain camaraderie formed in collegiate years
- To be a support system to the institution in executing its vision
- To ensure support through feedback on the effectiveness of the program and curriculum offered by the institution
- To enable resource building to achieve institutional goals
Functions
Alumni association promotes a spirit of fellowship and loyalty among alumni, provides a continuous flow of information on the progress and needs of the college, and encourages united alumni support for its advancement.
The functioning of the association of alumni should be in liaison with the objectives of the association.
The key functions of members of Alumni association are:
- Work closely with the administrative officials, faculty and alumni.
- Be ambassadors of the institution and support in student development activities of the institution like placements, career guidance etc.
