Ms. Tia Boban
Assistant Professor of Journalism
Ms. Tia Boban is an Assistant Professor of Journalism and a doctoral researcher at Christ University, focusing on Climate Crisis Photography. She has an M.Phil. in Media Studies from Christ University and a Master’s degree in Communication and Journalism from Kannur University, where she achieved the distinction of University First Rank Holder and Best Outgoing Student. She is also NET–JRF qualified and a recipient of the ICSSR Full-Term Scholarship.
Ms. Boban has teaching experience at Christ University, Women’s Christian College (Chennai), and St. Aloysius College (Mangalore). Prior to her academic career, she worked as a journalist with The Indian Express, Malayala Manorama, and Kairali News. Additionally, she served as a Research Assistant at ISRO, coordinated Film Festivals, and currently works as a peer reviewer for SAGE Publications.
