Dr. Kavya K M is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, committed to excellence in teaching, research, and academic engagement. Her research philosophy is rooted in interdisciplinary inquiry, with a keen interest in exploring diverse areas of commerce, management, and emerging business disciplines. Her broad research interests include consumer behaviour, marketing, finance, accounting, digital business, business analytics, entrepreneurship, strategic management, human resource management, organizational behaviour, sustainability, artificial intelligence in business, financial technology (FinTech), real estate and housing studies, innovation, and higher education. She believes that interdisciplinary research fosters innovative solutions to contemporary business and societal challenges. Her academic contributions include research publications, book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences.
Through her research, she seeks to bridge theoretical perspectives with practical applications, contributing to contemporary discourse in commerce and management. Committed to nurturing intellectual curiosity and professional competence, she adopts a learner-centered approach that integrates experiential learning, critical inquiry, innovation, and ethical values.
