Dr. Christina Romeo is an accomplished academician and researcher specialising in Dalit, Subaltern, and Cultural Studies. A UGC NET-qualified scholar, she brings a dynamic blend of scholarly depth and pedagogical expertise to her role at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies (CAIAS), Bengaluru.

With a rich teaching portfolio, Dr. Romeo has previously served as a faculty member at St. Stephen’s College, Pala, Kerala, for two years at the undergraduate level and as a postgraduate instructor at Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara, Kerala, for four months. Her commitment to academic excellence is reflected in her prolific publication record, featuring research articles in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals, alongside contributions to UGC-approved journals.

An author of two scholarly works, A Glance into Malayalam Literature and Lit Quest: A Literature Q & A Journey, Dr. Romeo actively engages in literary scholarship while fostering critical inquiry among students. She has also contributed to curriculum development by preparing question banks for Mahatma Gandhi University, covering one core English course and two general English courses at the undergraduate level. With an unwavering passion for research and pedagogy, Dr. Romeo continues to shape intellectual discourse, guiding students toward academic and critical excellence.
