Dr. Abhijith P has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. His doctoral research examines the evolution of urban leisure behaviours and practices in Cochin during the twentieth century, with a specific focus on leisure as a subcultural phenomenon within urban spaces. His work contributes to a deeper understanding of how urban environments shape cultural practices and social life over time.
