Dr Beena Daliya R, Associate Professor of Psychology, is the Head at the Department of Science at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Bangalore, affiliated to Bangalore University. She obtained her PhD from the Department of Psychology at Bangalore University in 2015. She completed her Master’s in Psychological Counselling from the Department of Psychology, Bangalore University, Bengaluru, in 2005.
With over 13 years of teaching experience, Dr Beena has developed a strong academic background in Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychological assessments, Individual and Group Counselling skills and techniques, Organisational Psychology, Positive psychology, Education & Career Counselling and Family & Marriage Counselling. Dr. Beena has made significant contributions to research and academia. She has guided over 300 students in their research dissertations. She has received recognition for her work, including the Best Paper Awards at various International Conferences. Dr Beena has experience in parallel fields of Counselling, Academic skills, Life skills, and Employability skills, as well as in Training and Content Development for training programs.
