Department of Arts and Humanities
The Department of Arts and Humanities at CAIAS offers specialized majors in English and Journalism while also providing additional courses in Kannada, Hindi, and Sanskrit, integrating diverse domains of the natural sciences into its teaching approach.
These courses provide a comprehensive understanding of societal dynamics, cultural shifts, and the evolving role of media over time. This discipline is emerging as an integrative force in the modern world decoding the complexities of human life, culture, and society. We design programs that help students analyze varied aspects of societal realities from a multi-disciplinary perspective rather than through conventional learning alone. Our extracurricular activities strengthen students’ ability to gain real-world experience and learn beyond the classroom. A team of experiential faculty trains students to gain knowledge for academics and life.
Students are exposed to various skill development activities through clubs, workshops, language labs, seminars, and conferences. Through these activities, we at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies promote inclusiveness by creating knowledge.
