Assistant Professor
Dr. Arjun T P is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at the Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies (CAIAS), Bengaluru. He received his doctoral degree in Commerce from the Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), where he also completed his M.Phil in Commerce. He was awarded the University Grants Commission’s Junior Research Fellowship (NET-JRF) in 2020.
His teaching and research interests lie in finance. He enjoys teaching subjects such as Financial Management, Cost Accounting, and Financial Accounting. He is currently expanding his expertise in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence and is enrolled in the Professional Certificate Program in Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence at the IIM Kozhikode.
His research areas include Personal Finance, Behavioral Finance, and Consumer Behavior. He is presently exploring the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the domains of Personal and Household Finance. His work has been published in journals listed in the ABDC Quality List and indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He has presented his research at several reputable international conferences, including those organized by IIM Calcutta, IIT Madras, NISM, and others. He was awarded the Student/Young Professional Conference Scholarship at the 2025 Annual Conference of the American Council on Consumer Interests.
