Dr. J. Shanthilakshmi is a distinguished academician and Professor of Human Resource Management with over 24 years of teaching, research, academic administration, and industry engagement. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and has served in several reputed institutions such as Jansons School of Business -Coimbatore, PES Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (under Ministry of Textiles, Government of India), and GRD Academy of Management Coimbatore where she also held additional roles as Vice Principal, Controller of Examinations, and Deputy Controller of Examinations.
She has published widely in national and international journals and has presented research papers at prestigious conferences. She has also authored a book and book chapters and case-based articles addressing contemporary HR challenges. A sought-after resource person, she has delivered invited talks and training workshops on Talent Management, Performance Appraisal, Future of Workforce, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Entrepreneurship Development, and Business Model Innovation.
She is a life member of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) and has served on academic boards and examination panels of leading universities. Recognized for her academic commitment, she received the Second Merit Award at the AIMS International Conference (Doctoral Paper Competition) in 2007.
Driven by a passion for developing employable, ethical, and future-ready management graduates, Dr. Shanthilakshmi continues to integrate research, teaching excellence, industry collaboration, and leadership in all her roles.
