Dr. J. Shanthilakshmi
Professor
Dr. J. Shanthilakshmi is a Professor with over two decades of experience in management education, academic leadership, research, training, and industry-oriented learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, along with an M.Phil. and MBA in Management. Her areas of academic expertise include Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship, , and Organization Development. She has held academic positions of increasing responsibility across reputed institutions in Bengaluru and Coimbatore and has also undertaken several academic and administrative leadership roles, including Controller of Examinations and Programme Head.
Dr. Shanthilakshmi has an active research and professional engagement record, with publications, conference presentations, book chapters, consultancy assignments, and participation in national and international academic forums. Her research interests include organizational culture, social capital, emotional intelligence, employee behaviour, talent management, entrepreneurship, employability, workforce development, and future-ready skills. She has served as an invited speaker and resource person for numerous FDPs, MDPs, EDPs, conferences, workshops, and training programmes. She has also contributed extensively to entrepreneurship development initiatives, student development programmes, industry-academia activities, and professional bodies, reflecting her commitment to meaningful management education and continuous learning.
