Dr. Javeria Amreen

Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Dr. Javeria Amreen is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Bengaluru. She completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Christ University, Bengaluru, in 2022, with her doctoral research focusing on “Study on Graphs Associated with Groups.” She also holds an M.Phil. in Mathematics from Christ University, Bengaluru (2018), and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore University (2016), where she was a Silver Medalist. She has qualified the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in Mathematical Science and has teaching experience at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, and Christ University.
Her research interests include graph theory, algebraic graph theory, signed graphs, domination, and graph constructions associated with algebraic structures, with further interests in applications of graph theory and cryptography. She has published research articles in national and international journals and conference proceedings and has presented her work at several academic conferences. She is a recipient of a Best Paper Award and a Best Paper Presentation Award and has a published patent on an “Encryption and Decryption Scheme using Random Weighted Rooted Trees with Python Implementation.” In addition to her academic contributions, she served as the Coordinator of the Centre for Integrated Education and Life Skill Formation – Samagra during the academic year 2024–2025 and subsequently served as the Coordinator of the Cultural Committee during the academic year 2025–2026 at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Bengaluru. She has also contributed as a resource person for academic talks and workshops.
