Dr. Kavita Chavare holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Commerce from Jain University, Bengaluru, awarded in 2025. Her doctoral research focuses on the impact of double materiality on value relevance, with particular emphasis on principle-wise sustainability performance disclosures.
Her research comparatively examines the Cement and Pharmaceutical industries, exploring the relationship between sustainability disclosures, principle-wise performance, and the value relevance of corporate information. Her academic interests contribute to the understanding of sustainability reporting and its relevance in corporate decision-making.
