Dr. Meera K L is a seasoned academician and administrator with over two decades of experience spanning higher education and corporate sectors. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University and an MBA in Finance from Mount Carmel Institute of Management. Her career reflects a deep commitment to institutional development, research excellence, and pedagogical innovation. As Head of Department and IQAC Coordinator at Dayananda Sagar Business Academy, she has led initiatives in NAAC compliance, digital transformation, and academic quality enhancement. Her teaching portfolio includes finance and management subjects across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and she has mentored numerous student projects and clubs, including finance and business clubs.
Dr. Meera’s research contributions are extensive, with over 25 papers published in Scopus, ABDC, IEEE, and UGC Care journals, alongside multiple book chapters and three authored academic books. Her work explores emerging domains such as Fintech, AI in Risk Management, and Blockchain applications in education and finance. She has presented at national and international conferences, holds two Indian patents in predictive financial analytics, and is currently pursuing an executive program in Fintech and Risk Management from IIM Vishakhapatnam.
