Dr. Minu Singh, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, is a highly accomplished academic and finance professional with over 13 years of teaching, research and industry experience, dedicated to cultivating intellectual rigor and analytical excellence within higher education. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce (Institutional Finance) and a Master of Commerce (Finance) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She has also qualified the UGC-NET-JRF and the Chartered Accountancy Inter level. This background provides her with a strong foundation in both academic research and professional financial practice. Throughout her career, she has served in esteemed institutions such as, the Centre for Vocational Studies at BHU, Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, BHU, and Sunbeam Women’s College Varuna, Varanasi. Her expertise spans across various subjects including financial management, Accounting and Indian Accounting Standards, Portfolio Management and Banking Structures & Operations, covering undergraduate and post graduate honours programs.

Dr. Singh has a robust research portfolio, featuring 09 research papers published in refereed national and international journals. She has also contributed chapters to edited book volumes and presented papers at over 20+ national and international conferences. She has held notable administrative and academic positions, such as serving as a Student Welfare Office (SWO) Coordinator and managing departmental presentations for Research Centre renewals. Her contributions to curriculum development, research leadership, and the establishment of strategic MoUs’ with banks and stock exchanges have significantly shaped academic standards and industry integration. Dr. Singh is dedicated to impactful interdisciplinary research, integrating finance with emerging fields such as behavioural finance, forensic accounting, creative accounting. She has also supervised undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations with a focus on empirical data integrity and ethical research methodologies. Dr Singh has also been a Jury Member in IIC Regional Meet (MoE & AICTE), December 2025. As an educator, mentor, and researcher, she inspires students and peers with her commitment to collaborative excellence and institutional innovation.
