Dr. Panchali Mukherjee
Associate Professor of English
Dr. Panchali Mukherjee has done B. A. and M. A. in English from the Department of English, Jamia Millia Islamia in 1999 and 2001 respectively; M. Phil. in English from the Department of English, University of Delhi in 2003; and Ph.D. in English from the Department of English, Jamia Millia Islamia in 2012. She did her “Post Masters Course Work” in Applied Linguistics in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures in Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, U.S.A. She has been a rank holder at the undergraduate and the postgraduate levels of her studies. She is a Fulbright Scholar. She has received “Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Lifetime Achievement National Award 2021” from National Institute for Socio Economic Development. She has received an “Achievement Award” for the publication of The Salad Bowl: The Role of English in Creation of an Indian English Identity in 2022.
