Dr. Shashikumar N.D. is a seasoned academician and researcher with 18 years of experience spanning academia and the pharmaceutical industry. He holds an MSc in Industrial Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Kuvempu University, complemented by an MCA specializing in Artificial Intelligence. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Bangalore, he is known for his interdisciplinary expertise in chemistry, artificial intelligence, and data analysis. His career highlights include a tenure as a Research Scientist at Alkem Laboratories Ltd., where he contributed significantly to R&D, and academic roles at Christ University, where he led research projects and developed an ERP system with a team of analysts.
Dr. Shashikumar has authored 15 research publications, with most featured in international journals, and has guided over 60 MSc students in their projects. His research interests include synthetic organic chemistry, AI applications in agriculture and medicine, and machine learning for organic synthesis. A proactive educator, he has organized and participated in numerous national and international workshops and conferences, fostering research excellence and innovation.
