Dr. Sudeepta Raha
Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance
Dr. Sudeepta Raha is an Assistant Professor at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Bengaluru, with over nine years of teaching experience in Accounting and Finance. She was awarded her M.Phil. in 2021 and Ph.D. in 2025 from Assam University. Her areas of teaching expertise include Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Financial Management, Banking and Insurance, Accounting for Managers, Taxation, and Tally. She combines theoretical knowledge with practical and industry-oriented approaches to facilitate effective learning.
Dr. Raha has presented research papers at several national and international seminars and conferences and has authored a book on Accounts. Her scholarly work has been published in Scopus-indexed, ABDC, UGC-CARE, and peer-reviewed journals, with research interests spanning finance and banking, consumer behaviour, accounting, and related areas. She has also contributed to edited books and holds patents. Beyond teaching and publication, Dr. Raha actively contributes to the academic community as a journal reviewer, having reviewed numerous research manuscripts for scholarly journals. Her academic journey reflects a balanced engagement with teaching, research, publication, innovation and academic service.
