Mr. Kumar N is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce with a strong academic background and a passion for excellence in teaching, research, and student development. He holds an M.com, MBA, PGDBA, PGDFM and has qualified both UGC-NET (Commerce and Management) and K-SET. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Mysore, with research focusing on the adoption of Financial Technology (FinTech) among street vendors in Karnataka. With over 8 years of teaching experience, Mr. Kumar has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, GST, Corporate Accounting, Financial Management and Cost Accounting. His teaching philosophy integrates conceptual understanding with practical business applications, enabling students to connect classroom learning with industry practices. His academic interests include Financial Technology, Digital Finance, Taxation, Financial Inclusion, Accounting Education and Emerging Financial Systems.

He has published research papers in ABDC-listed, UGC CARE and peer-reviewed journals, authored academic books, contributed to an Indian patent, and actively participates in faculty development programmed, research conferences and academic initiatives. Apart from teaching and research, he has coordinated extension activities, career guidance initiatives, internal examinations, curriculum development and accreditation-related academic responsibilities.
