Mr.Ramakrishna C N is an experienced academician specializing in Image Processing and Machine Learning. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and an M.Tech. from Karnataka State Open University and is a qualified KSET. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Christ University.
Mr.. Ramakrishna has a strong track record in teaching and academic administration. He began his career as a System Administrator at SBVV College, Hindupur, from 1994 to 2006, and subsequently served as the Head of the Department of Computer Applications at the same institution from 2006 to 2010. He then joined Acharya Institutes as an Assistant Professor in 2010 and later progressed to become the Head of the Department of Computer Applications from 2019 to 2024.
Beyond his academic roles, Mr. Ramakrishna is actively involved in enriching the student experience. He has organized numerous IT Fests, workshops, guest talks, and industry visits, fostering a vibrant and engaging learning environment.
He has also significantly contributed to academic governance. He has served as a Board of Examiners (BOE) member for Bangalore City University (BCU), first for B.Sc. Computer Science during the academic years 2021-2022 and 2022-2024, and then for B.C.A. during the academic year 2023-2024. He has also been a valuable contributor to the academic community by setting question papers for various universities and autonomous colleges, including BU, BCU, MES, Kristu Jayanthi, Indian Academy, and CMR College.
