The Staff Grievance Redressal Cell is constituted to address and resolve the professional concerns and grievances of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution. The cell operates with a vision to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment where every staff member feels heard, respected, and valued. It aims to build a culture of transparency, trust, and mutual respect between the staff and the management.
Objectives
To promote a workplace culture that is equitable and empowering, the Staff Grievance Redressal Cell provides a formal mechanism through which staff members can voice their concerns. The primary objective of the cell is to maintain a harmonious institutional climate by addressing grievances in a fair, prompt, and confidential manner. The cell upholds the dignity of every staff member and ensures their personal and professional rights are protected. It seeks to resolve issues pertaining to interpersonal conflicts, administrative hurdles, workload management, performance appraisal concerns, and other service-related matters, including infrastructure, working conditions, and health and safety.
Functions
- To ensure a safe, respectful, and conducive work environment for all staff members.
- To facilitate open communication and resolve professional conflicts or concerns through dialogue and appropriate institutional measures.
- To receive and review grievances submitted in writing by faculty and non-teaching staff.
- To investigate concerns while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
- To recommend remedial actions to the management based on institutional policies and norms.
- To create awareness among staff regarding the grievance redressal mechanism and their rights as members of the institution.
- Staff may submit grievances through the official form available under the “Staff Services” section on the college website.
