Grievance Redressal Cell for Students
The Grievance Redressal Cell for students is formed to address the grievances and issues of the student community. The cell functions to protect the interest of the students and to help them develop a bond among themselves and with the faculty and management of the institution.
Objectives
To inculcate and promote a holistic and healthy empowerment amidst the young learners, the students’ grievance redressal cell offers a forum for students to confide their needs and grievance. The core objective of the grievance redressal cell is to ensure a congenial and harmonious learning ambience. It is curated to encourage the students to express their grievances or sensitive issues within the college. The preservation of human rights is imperative for the personal and professional advancement of the individuals. Adhering to this manifesto the cell functions to resolve the academic and non – academic grievances of the students such as physical or mental harassment, complaints regarding class room teaching, class room management, completion of syllabus, teaching methodology, infrastructure maintenance and upgradation, etc. if and when they arise.
Functions
- To ensure the safety and security of the students within the institution.
- To regulate a holistic and hassle-free learning environment.
- The grievance redressal cell will deal with the grievances of all kind received in writing from the students.
- The committee will review all cases and redress the issues adhering to the management policies.
- The students may post their grievances online by filling the form available in the college website under the section “Student Services”.
Outcomes
- The grievances will be redressed with prudence in the stipulated time period with necessary remedial actions.
- Through counselling the confidence to encounter the crisis is instilled inside the students.
- Students are encouraged to express their issues without any inhibitions.
