Bringing TED to Local Communities
Structure of TEDx Events
TEDx events include a combination of live speakers and recorded TED Talks, creating dynamic and inspiring experiences for attendees.
Independence and Licensing
These events are organized independently under a free license granted by TED. While not directly controlled by TED, organizers agree to follow specific guidelines related to format, curation, and speaker coaching.
Global Impact
More than 3000 TEDx events are now held annually worldwide, with organizers learning from TED and from each other to continue spreading powerful ideas.
