About the Library

A Learner-Centric Knowledge Hub

The Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies Library is a hub for knowledge enhancement, thoughtfully designed to meet the academic needs of students and faculty, to support your academic growth and success. It offers a wide range of resources, including books, magazines, journals, encyclopedias, databases, and digital collections accessible through the fully automated management system, ensuring users can locate and utilise these resources efficiently.

The library offers spacious seating facilities and a calm, learner-friendly ambience that supports academic and research activities. A team of trained and committed library professionals ensures efficient service delivery to the academic community. The library is located on the second and third floors and spans 1,800 sq. m.

To function as a dynamic Learning Resource Centre by providing inclusive, learner-centric spaces, updated collections, reference services, reading facilities, and academic support systems that facilitate effective teaching, learning, and research

To implement and continuously upgrade integrated library management systems (ILMS), digital repositories, remote access facilities, and other ICT-enabled services to ensure seamless and technology-driven access to information resources.
To subscribe to and provide equitable access to high-quality e-journals, e-books, databases, and other digital resources that strengthen academic excellence, research productivity, and outcome-based education.
To promote optimal utilisation of library resources and services through orientation programs, user awareness initiatives, information literacy training, and feedback-based improvements.
To adopt best practices in collection development, preservation of rare and digital materials, knowledge organisation, intellectual property awareness, and ethical use of information while fostering lifelong learning and academic integrity.
